The USA BMX Foundation’s programs focus on STEM education through hands-on, project-based learning concepts, in which young students are learning new ways of seeing science, technology, engineering, and math all through the lens of a BMX bike.

Programs

These project-based programs are student-centered, and student-led, where instructors help facilitate the BMX STEM curriculum. Our six (6) module curriculum is equal parts education and exercise, all centered around a bike. Flexible lesson plans are designed to be used in a variety of settings including school days, after-school, as well as summer camps. 

Our curriculum aligns with state STEM standards, including NGSS, Common Core, and incorporates a pre/post testing element that supports with outcome-based reporting.
